ACTIVITY SUMMARY

Zookeepers are like superheroes for animals! They take care of all the animals in the zoo by feeding them, cleaning their homes, and making sure they are happy and healthy. They also get to play with some of the animals and teach them new things. You get a chance to experience the behind-the-scenes of a zoo!

• Kids will learn about the importance of animal care and welfare, and how zoos provide a safe and healthy environment for animals to live in.
• Kids will be introduced to a variety of animal species and learn about their habitats, diets, behaviors, and unique characteristics.
• Kids will learn about the different roles of zookeepers and staff in animal care, such as feeding, cleaning, monitoring, and providing enrichment activities for the animals.
• Kids will learn about conservation efforts aimed at protecting endangered species and their habitats, and how zoos play a role in these efforts.
